Now that Avy is 6 years old ...there are many changes that I have seen recently in him. A few days back he came and told me he went to canteen and ate cookie which he bought from the quarters he had in his bag. I don't know but I was so amused that my little one went to the canteen to "grab a bite".later one day he said mumma don't make tiffin for me I will eat in the canteen. it felt like so grown up to me!! well!!! I gave the money to him,he was happy to eat in the canteen and I was thrilled to imagine him going and buy food on his own. That's one small milestone.
Yesterday he excitedly told me about the tooth that's a bit lose and I
could see a tiny tooth coming out from the back. so happy ..both me and avy. he was also very happy and pushing back and forth his loose tooth said mumma see I am growing up. he also told me about tooth fairy ..how she will put money instead of his broken tooth.
. oh yes, dear, you are growing up. so fast!!!!!
I just didn't know what to do so I hugged him so. I am happy he is growing up and also a realization that soon he will be all grown up and the hugs will be fewer and kisses will be minimal. but I really hope he grows up to be a very good man.
