Too many Questions!!! oh my God!!!!

with the growing age Avyaya's questions are being increased in numbers and more intense. he has questions on astronauts, planets ,football and his recent favourite is the topic on Gods.
"mumma  how many gods are there ??" " Who is the father of lord Ganesha? " "you know mumma all gods are cute but I find Ganesha the cutest."
one day we went to a mall. Just me Avy and Abhimanyu, Avyaya wanted an ice cream from Mc Donalds so I asked him to go to the counter and by one himself while I stood outside . so he went there and came back with an ice cream after few minutes. I asked him did you get scared .." he said mumma I got a little scared but when I reached the counter lord Krishna himself came and helped. The person who gave me the change has his name written on his shirt and mumma his name was Krishna. " I was totally amused by his innocence. how confidently he believed that god came for his rescue!!! innocence is bliss.

Barhta Bachha

Its always nice to see something new and amazing that the growing up kid does or learns. Avyaya's  choice of profession keeps on changing every now and then. initially he wanted to be in Dubai police then wanted to fly fighter planes and then he wanted to be into army finally these days his focus has been shifted  to S.W.A.T. Now he buys stuff related SWAT . he knows the names of the guns also. which is amazing according to me.
a recent fad that he developed was making a video and speak on any topic he likes. where ever we went he would switch on the camera on video mode and talk on the surroundings. I was happy too know that he is not camera conscious as he insisted me to post it on youtube.
Now  a big change that came to him is that he insists to sleep alone in his room and if I go to tuck him in bed he would say mumma you have loads of work ,you go and finish your work I will sleep by myself, once you are done with your work you can come and check if I am asleep. this is the big boy Avyaya … and when he finds coins under his pillow kept by tooth fairy instead of his tooth then he is a small boy Avyaya.

The Bonding Between Brothers

We are in India now for quite some time. Though it was a family emergency things got sorted. But we continued to stay back as the summer vacations have already started.
Avy was not enjoying much of his stay in Meerut without his dad who was in Dubai. first few days he missed and cried that he misses his dad later on the crying stopped but missing dad continued..!!!!
one day I and my sis in laws planned an outing to a mall. we were 4 of us with three kids. there was one such shop where we were shopping or rather looking around. Abhimanyu saw two kids one girl his age and another her brother he started playing with the girl. but the girl hit him I guess and so did her brother who was 2 or 3 years elder. initially, Abhimanyu tried running away. then Avyaya went there and stood behind Abhimanyu and the kids with his hands on his waist. May be it was the bonding they shared or Abhimanyu's faith and trust on his big brother, which made him bold that he went again to those kids and the kids saw his elder brother and stopped hitting Abhimanyu. i got so emotional. it was a very grand moment for me.
I pray their bonding to grow stronger day by day.

logics!!

One day we were in the mall. I told my husband that lets just take one round of home center (one of my favorite places and my husband’s least favorite.) reluctantly, he agreed!!! So we walked through one section then another by the time we completed third section my husband had had enough and was like I am going out. What’s the point of roaming here n there aimlessly when we don’t have to buy anything (well!! He hasn’t heard of the term "window shopping") I was like please yaa!!! Let’s see the other sections too. He was like no... I am very tired (to be fair!! he did come with us to the mall after a hectic day in office) so I didn’t insist much. Avyaya was walking beside me and was the witness of the chitchat. Very quietly he asked me... mumma why did you married papa...after quickly recovering from the cute weird question I replied, coz I like him.

Avy "why did you like him?"

Me "coz he was a good boy"

Avy "how is he a good boy... he doesn’t listen to you."

Well!!!! We just couldn’t stop laughing when I told this to Krish.

It’s so much fun to have some conversation with kids and listen to their views on their surroundings. Sometimes they do make more sense than we grown-ups!!!

Messi has a little new fan !!!!

I am writing this blog after a very long time. Got somewhat occupied lately with avy growing up and abhimanyu growing up. Avyaya has changed a lot since my last blog. All of a sudden he has grown up. He can make his cereals on his own. He will keep the kitchen stool to reach the top shelf to get his cup and cereals and also after adding all the things he will warm it in the microwave.

Now he has his favorite player messi and then Ronaldo. He would watch their matches for hours rather than cartoons (he dopes watch cartoons but for sometime only) he has favorite song… something... Believer!!! Which he will listen to...all the time and make us hear too. He has own choices of clothing which he would prefer rather than me choosing it for him.

He hates to write things but is very good vocally. Thankfully the school doesn’t have much exams on written basis. The studies are going tougher. Now we spend a bit more time in studies.

Two new languages are added to his course. One is Hindi which I can teach and other one is Arabic which I have to learn as well. But I am glad avy is not cribbing.
